Phil Glanville will be put under the spotlight at Hackney Mayor’s Question Time later this month.
The town hall event will give people the opportunity to quiz the council chief about any issues. Chairing the Q&A will be Dr Melissa Butcher, who has lived in Hackney for years and is a lecturer at Birkbeck University, where she researches how cities change and the impact change has on communities.
She regularly writes on gentrification, diversity and social cohesion and has worked with Hackney youngsters on the Creating Hackney as Home project.
Mr Glanville said: “These now annual events are an opportunity to hear from people about the issues which matter most to them, whether it be housing, crime, schools and transport, jobs, high streets, redevelopment and the environment, or health, social care and community cohesion.”
The free event is on November 26, from 7pm to 9pm. For a space call 0208 356 2869 or click here.
