The Argentinian has until Thursday, February 28 to respond to the charge
Mauricio Pochettino has been hit with an improper conduct charge by the Football Association for his behaviour at the end of Spurs’ 2-1 loss at Burnley on Saturday.
Following the Premier League defeat, Tottenham Hotspur’s seventh in the division this season, the 46-year-old was involved in a heated exchange with referee Mike Dean soon after the full time whistle.
Pochettino’s assistant Jesus Perez was also part of the incident and earlier today the FA confirmed the Lilywhites boss has now been charged.
An FA spokesperson said: “Mauricio Pochettino has been charged with two breaches of FA Rule E3 following the game against Burnley on Saturday [23 February 2019].
“It is alleged the Tottenham Hotspur manager’s language and/or behaviour at the end of the fixture – both on the pitch and in or around the tunnel area – amounted to improper conduct.
“He has until 18:00 on 28 February (Thursday) 2019 to respond to the charge.”
