Middlesex will use game against Australia on June 9 to help charity
Middlesex’s match with Australia at Lord’s on June 9 will be sponsored by estate agents Chestertons as part of an initiative to raise money for The Felix Project.
Anyone purchasing tickets through the official Middlesex website for the game can receive a £5 discount by using the code ‘CHESTERTONSAUS’ when prompted.
Chestertons have pledged to donate five per cent of all ticket revenue generated by book this way to The Felix Project, who aim to provide healthy meals to vulnerable Londoners by collecting surplus food from restaurants and retailers.
The Middlesex team will also don special green shirts for the game to show their solidarity with The Felix Project.
“There’s always been a great sporting rivalry with Australia – even for friendlies – and with such a strong Aussie contingent in London, there should be a great atmosphere for this match and we’re very excited to be sponsoring it,” said Giles Milner, Chestertons’ head of marketing and sponsorships.
“We’re also extremely happy that we have been able to work with Middlesex to turn this event into an opportunity to raise money for a fantastic charity that is making a real difference to vulnerable people across London.”
