Well, now’s your chance.

Modern homes magazine Livingetc has been running a number of tours around beautiful properties across the capital, some of which have featured in the glossy title.

The next tour is on Friday June 12 and covers seven homes in north west London, including Hampstead, Queen’s Park, Kensal Rise, Kilburn and Brondesbury Park.

We’re giving away one pair of tickets to the tour, worth £64, For details on how to enter scroll to the bottom of the page.

The houses and flats taking part are owned by a variety of stylists, interior designers, product designers, photographers and architects, and reveal the breadth of cool, modern design prevalent in London right now.

Among them is Carly Madhvani of NW3 Interiors, who showcases and sells designer furniture by brands including Knoll and Vitra from her garden flat in Lyndhurst Gardens, Hampstead.

“This is the first time I’ve taken part in the tours and I’m really looking forward to it,” says Madhvani.

“I’ve made some changes recently, like painting our hallway dark blue, and have just added a beautiful copper outdoor chair by Stephen Myburgh to our patio.

“I hope people will enjoy looking around and take inspiration from their visit. I think the house tours are a brilliant idea.”

Suzanne Imre, editor of Livingetc, adds: “We’ve persuaded some of London’s most creative and stylish homeowners to open the doors to their homes.

“This is a fantastic opportunity to see beautiful spaces up close – an event not to be missed for any interiors fan.”

The Livingetc house tours, which run from 10am to 4pm, are self tours, so you visit the homes at your own pace, using your own transport. The events have been planned to enable easy travel between each house by public transport or car.

About 10 days prior to the event, you will receive a map of where the homes on the house tour are located, a description of each of them, where to start, a recommended travel route, plus the opportunity to buy a subscription to Livingetc at a special rate.

You will also receive a goodie bag, which includes a copy of the magazine.

This year’s tours are held in support of homelessness charity Crisis, and in association with sofa company Arlo & Jacob and AO.com, which sells kitchen appliances, TVs and home entertainment systems.

A selection of Arlo & Jacob products can be seen in some of the homes taking part in the tours.
