Galliard Homes is launching Silver Works, an elegant new courtyard development of 191 new homes located at Grove Park, in the heart of Colindale. Galliard Homes highlight that Colindale NW9, is now recognised as one of London’s most significant areas for growth, inward investment and regeneration.
Silver Works comprises six elegant and individual apartment buildings integrated into a handsome landscaped environment of communal courtyards and gardens. The 191 high-specification homes comprise energy-efficient suites, one, two and three-bedroom apartments, plus six executive 4-bedroom town houses.
Colindale is benefiting from the £4.5 billion transformation of neighbouring Brent Cross and West Hendon. This will establish the area as a new gateway into central London, as well as clearly identifying Colindale as a rising ‘city suburb’ destined to become one of London’s most popular residential destinations.
Galliard Homes highlight that Silver Works will be a key element in the revival of Colindale and North London. The site was originally occupied by a former telephone and electric works building, prior to which it was used by the RAF in the First World War for ammunition manufacturing, storage and aeroplane component production.
Now with the new Silver Works development, Galliard Homes are adding an exciting new chapter to the site’s history. The apartments feature terraces or balconies whilst town houses have private gardens. There is both surface and secure underground parking facilities, as well as bicycle storage facilities.
