Haringey is a borough in the midst of transformation, and the future is bright for this bustling, growing community.

At the centre of this change is the Haringey Heartland, a residential project with an emphasis on community.

As part of this redevelopment, property developers St William have opened up Hornsey Park Place, the first stage of the mixed-used complex, Clarendon N8.

Clarendon N8

Clarendon is a 12-acre site within the Haringey Heartlands area, which is now being transformed into a creative space for new residents and workers alike.

St William specialise in transforming industrial sites from bygone ages into beautiful places, which people call home. Keeping inline with this, they have regenerated the former Clarendon Gasworks into a sleek, multi-functional city village that will soon become a vibrant community hub.

Design principle

How people use space drives St William’s design, and Clarendon offers many opportunities to bring people together. Hornsey Park is the development’s centre piece, complete with public art and an orchard that the public can enjoy.

The collection of 22 landscaped spaces and courtyards are for both residents as well as locals to utilise. Clarendon is also lit up by bright spaces - building design optimises natural light across homes and outdoor spaces.

Modern neighbourhood vibes

Once complete, Clarendon will house over 1,500 studio, one, two and three-bedroom apartments and create over 100,000 square foot of commercial space that will sit side-by-side inviting green spaces that strive to foster community engagement. The development will also offer outstanding amenities and services.

The development will include a gym, swimming pool and crèche. Already, it has several social spaces including playgrounds and areas for festivals and street events. The popular Street Feast already hosts pop-up food markets inside Clarendon Yards – a project that will transform abandoned space into a social space that creates opportunities to eat and drink – ensuring Clarendon stays buzzing into the evening.

Stay well connected

Just 20 minutes to Kings Cross, Hornsey Park Place is well connected to the rest of the city and beyond. A short stroll to either Wood Green and Turnpike Underground stations or Hornsey or Alexandra Palace Overground stops will transport you across London to wherever you want to go.

Live locally

But there are plenty of reasons to stay local as well. Shops, cafes, restaurants and a cinema line Wood Green High Road and the iconic Alexandra Palace with its 196-acres of sprawling green parkland and lake is a local day out. Clarendon will become a new urban space that is both a social and sustainable place to live and work.

Studios start from £355,000 one-beds from £425,000 and two-beds from £517,500.
