Jonathan Ross will open this year’s Hampstead Garden Suburb Horticultural Society Summer Show.

The chat show host, who is the President of the society, will unveil the floral displays at Free Church Hall Northway at 3.15pm on Saturday 17th June.

Guests can revel in the summer fun by taking part in two competitions during the day, a fancy dress contest for under-16s which will be judged by Ross, and a fancy hat competition for adults. Entrants are encouraged to arrive dressed up as flowers, trees, birds and bees.

Entry to the show costs £2 but is free for members, under-18s and all those who arrive wearing a hat for the competition, or accompany a child in fancy dress. Guests will be able to take advantage of not only the sights and smells of beautiful summer blooms, but also delightful homemade tea and cakes.

The Hampstead Garden Suburb Horticultural Society Summer Flower Show will take place on Saturday 17th June at the Free Church Hall Northway, NW11 6PB. Information here.
