Judging by the bright, modern interior of the apartment this seems unlikely, however.
Buyers here are more likely to be frolicking in the communal gardens than cowering under the covers.

This tall, narrow period property has all the right proportions for the Gothic Revival and the top floor windows with their distinctively pretty arches add character.

One of the grandest examples of Gothic Revival architecture in London, a flat in the renovated building above St Pancras station can probably only be trumped by a bolthole in the Houses of Parliament.
The one bedroom flat is on the second floor of this iconic Grade-I listed building in which architectural elements have been painstakingly salvaged and restored and it retains its original doorways and boasts exposed wood floors and lofty ceilings.

Brook House, Hampstead Garden Suburb N2. Available through Glentree for £7,750,000
This property may not be Victorian era Gothic, but the grand, double-fronted house draws on the architecture of Ye Olde England in a similar way.
Inside, the striking black and white tiling in the dining room and spacious entrance hall is straight out of the stylish Expressionist cinema classic The Cabinet of Dr Caligari.
And, on a blustery day, Kenwood House and grounds are just across the road for those who want to re-create Wuthering Heights.
