Winter is finally here, and word on the street is, so is Emilia Clarke. The Game of Thrones actress has reportedly bought a house in Hampstead for just over £8million.
Real world Brexit-Trump politics may be approaching the levels of scheming and danger seen in Westeros’ power struggle for the Iron Throne, but the grade II-listed house with its sizeable garden, which the 30-year-old is said to have bought, should offer a tranquil escape for the Khaleesi during downtime between filming.
The six-bedroom Victorian property is full of dramatic period touches, which would be ideal for the London-born actress, who starred in Me Before You this year alongside Hunger Games star Sam Claflin.
There’s private off-street parking for her dragons and should she fancy taking them for a walk, the Heath is just next door.
It seems that Esquire’s ‘sexiest woman alive’ 2015 could be doing some empire building – of a property variety. Clarke, who is said to be the highest paid Game of Thrones actor, reportedly spent £3.8million on a house in Venice Beach, LA earlier this year.
