1930s garage transformed into 10 luxury apartments in Belsize Village

Belsize Lane comprises 10 two and three-bedroom apartments, each featuring interiors by the multi-award winning CID Interieur and bespoke kitchen design by Poggenpohl.

Godfrey London are behind the project, which is the first new luxury apartment development to be built in Belsize Village since the 1950s.

The site was originally Victorian coach stables for affluent local families before it was re-developed into the Belsize Garages to provide repair and shelter for the Art Deco styled cars of the 1930s. Godfrey London have spent the past 18 months restoring the development to its former glamour and glory; recently unveiling 10 new homes that start from £1.2 million for a two-bedroom and £3.2 million for a three-bedroom apartment.

Located just a stone’s throw from the cafes, restaurants and shops of Belsize Village at 21 Belsize Lane, the new apartment building has a four-storey stepped-back façade with floor-to-ceiling windows, complete with covered balconies designed by leading architects Wimshurst Pelleriti.

Each new property features an open-plan Poggenpohl kitchen with a unique layout, while selected apartments come with master bedrooms that boast built-in bathtubs and a separate walk-in shower. Additional features include underfloor heating, comfort cooling to the living space and bedrooms, and Legrand and Sonos entertainment systems. Each bedroom is furnished with silk-touch carpets and feature lighting.

With the official launch of the development came the unveiling of a fully-dressed show apartment which is now available to tour.
