The company behind the renovation of the historic Hornsey Town Hall building have set out how much homes in the development will cost, a subject which campaigners protested against.

The Far East Consortium have said the price of a one-bedroom apartment in the completed project will cost £499,950.

Campaigners against the development had complained about the lack of affordable housing at the site, and said the profit margin was too high.

As part of the £30million work, the Grade-II listed building will be taken off Historic England’s ‘at risk’ list.

The developers have also announced the date for a launch event, on May 19.
