Rainbow coloured accessories from around the world give a bright new look to the restrained neutrals of French homewares shop Coco Home Style.
Costanza, a brand specialising in crafted fashion accessories sourced from around the world, is holding a pop up event in the Belsize Park shop for the next 10 days.
At the opening event last night, Erika Baldwin Torres said: “I’m focussed on working with suppliers that use local craftspeople from all over the world. I think that’s so important, it means that everything has a unique story.”
Particular items to look out for include hand-loomed bags from Colombia, which take a month each to produce, and Guatemalan beaded coin purses, which would make lovely Christmas presents.
The only items that look like they could be from the shop itself are the Kichay clutch bags from Ecuador, woven from black and beige toquilla, the straw that is used to make Panama hats.
