Rags to riches stories don’t come much more glamorous than this. A flat in a block originally built for Irish migrants but which became one of the most desirable addresses in London with residents including Mick Jagger and Joan Collins, has come on the market

Sir Thomas Beecham, founder of the London Philharmonic Orchestra also lived in the building, perhaps attracted by the Royal Academy of Music nearby.
Nowadays, Marylebone draws overseas families, as well as business people, political dynasties and a younger cosmopolitan and celebrity set.
