HOW LONG HAVE YOU LIVED IN CROUCH END? Four years.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT it? The parks, the booths in Spiazzo, sushi in Wow and a sense of community that was notably lacking in Holloway, unless it was at the funerals of people who'd been shot dead in the grocer's at 1am.

WHY DO YOU LIKE WORKING from THE COFFEE SHOPS? The wifi provision is shoddy in Starbucks, non-existent in Costa. This prevents me from spending all day mucking about on YouTube. And I like to 'perv' Peter Capaldi during his daily morning coffee mission in Costa.

WHAT IS THE WORST THING? Useful shops being replaced by boutiques selling stupid shoes and £300 handbags, all the estate agencies, the insanely lax restocking policy in Woolworths (yeah, don't bother restocking, say, your Halloween gear after the 21st of October. Who'd want to buy a witch's outfit after then?) And I'm sorry, but the fishmonger's fish doesn't appeal to me. I want a proper fishmonger's!

WHAT IS MISSING? A decent Woolworths, a cinema, a small outlet of Topshop, a Waitrose.

WHAT IS CROUCH END'S BIGGEST EYESORE? I can't believe they chopped down all the trees outside the former Mount View Theatre.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE LOCAL BUILDING? There's a house on Haslemere Road that looks like it's in the middle of the countryside. I walk past it every day and covet it.

WHich ARE YOUR FAVOURITE SHOPS? I love the grocer's that isn't the Clocktower - they have five different varieties of Nairn's oatcakes. Budgen's is far superior to Tesco Express or M&S. The French wine merchants can match a wine to any meal, and there's a very hot bloke who works in Prospero's book shop.

WHich IS YOUR FAVOURITE LOCAL RESTAURANT? Wow, Spiazzo and the Tiffin Tin for takeaways.

WHich IS YOUR FAVOURITE LOCAL PUB? The King's Head has the best billboards in town. "Political upheaval! Global warming! Hurricanes! Have a drink!"

WHAT DO YOU DO IN THE AREA AT WEEKENDS? Restorative Bloody Mary in Pick More Daisies, then Priory Park, Finsbury Park, Stationer's Park - anywhere the kids can fall off their bikes in peace.

WHAT BOOK ARE YOU READING AT THE MOMENT? Some trashy shagging novel by Penny Vincenzi, and a hard-core feminist textbook. Did you know Mary Wollstonecraft's best friend was called Fanny Blood?

FOOTBALL OR CRICKET? Ugh. Just chop my head off instead.

IF YOU HAD TO TWIN CROUCH END WITH ANY OTHER PLACE WHERE WOULD THAT BE AND WHY? Barcelona, so we could all house-swap once a year.

IF YOU HAD A MILLION POUNDS TO SPEND IN A DAY WHAT WOULD YOU DO? Buy my brother "a go" on his favourite pop star, then spend the change (about £999,900) on a tiny one-bedroom flat over a shop on Topsfield Parade "as an investment".

WHAT WOULD YOUR EPITAPH BE? Oh my God! I'm dead!
