The Camden Fringe is upon us, so here are some of our top picks of the season

Smack The Pony writer and local resident Lisa Fulthorpe will be showing her new work, Final Score, at the fringe this year. Friendship, parenthood and football collide in this darkly comic drama about failed ambition.(Tristan Bates Theatre, July 30 to August 4)

Stickyback theatre will be showing their puppet show for adults this year. It’s a puppet life promises life through the lens of puppets on the street, puppets in the bedroom and puppets just about everywhere (Etcetera theatre August 13-15) Jo Romero will make a return to the fringe with Scenes of a Sensual Nature. A production set in a darkly twisted world, where comedy blends with horror. It promises theatrical scenes that are harrowing, hilarious and absurd. (Etcetera Theatre August 17-19) After being trapped in the Roundhouse last year, comedian James Mullinger will be trying out new material in The Man with No Shame. (Etcetera Theatre August 3 and 13) Local boy from Camden and award winning comedian Joe Bor will perform his first show at The Camden Fringe, with

s stand up, characters, drawings and fun stuff. Alan Carr rated him a must see act. (Camden Head, August 14-16)
