Creativity was the order of the day at St Saviour’s Primary School as students let their imaginations run wild.

The 240 students at the Little Venice school were given the choice of 25 activities across the roster of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and maths) subjects.

Activities on the day included pom pom making, Japanese lantern making, juggling, a disco, a rhythm studio and photography workshops.

It is not all about the kids however, with staff and parents all getting into the spirit of things by running activities and joining their children in several of the workshops.

Headteacher Lindsey Woodford said: “We have been running these creative days for four years now.

“We absolutely believe in the transformational power of creativity and it is extraordinary what children are able to produce in just one upside down day. t

“It is important to give our students different ways of learning – everyone at the school looks forward to the day for weeks in advance.”
