John and his family are very sad to announce the passing of Marion Uglow on 7th Feb at the age of 91. Marion and John were married for almost 66 years and spent most of this time living in Highgate where she made many friends. There will be a Service of Thanksgiving at Pond Square Chapel on 13th March at 11:00am. Friends are welcome to attend. Marion's family are contactable on marion@uglow.net. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oxfam.

Dear John ,I am very sorry to hear of Marions passing i have tried phoning your home many times . Marian and I have been very worried . I am sorry we missed Marions funeral but I only heard of her passing today Friday 14th . We send you our best wishes and would love to hear from you . I have just been told of the death of Marion. She was my French teacher at Levenshulme Grammar, school, Manchester in 1966/7. She was the most wonderful influence in my life. I kept in touch with her & visited London on many occasions for art, exhibitions, historical visits or just a lovely lunch. She cared so much to hear about my news of family and friends for many years. I shall never forget this amazing lady, who supported me through thick and thin. I will miss her greatly.
