Comic's former husband found hanged
editorial@hamhigh.co.uk
06 October 2009
REGENT'S Park comic Matt Lucas is said to be inconsolable after his former partner was found dead yesterday.
Kevin McGee, who married the Little Britain star in 2006, is believed to have hung himself at his Edinburgh home.
In a statement, police said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of the 32-year-old.
Mr Lucas has since pulled out of his lead role in London play Prick Up Your Ears.
His comedy partner and friend David Walliams was seen leaving Mr Lucas' home in Regent's Park last night.
His agent said the actor had no comment to make.
