Paddington’s Tin-Tin Ho has made history after winning all three of the available titles at the Cadet and Junior National Championships.

The 17-year-old, who lives in Upbrook Mews and used to attend St Joseph’s Catholic School in Maida Vale, took the girls’ singles and doubles titles as well as the mixed doubles crown.

It means she is the first person to simultaneously hold all three junior and all three senior national titles – the only one to elude her this season was the Under-21 title.

“It was nice to win them all in my last year of juniors and it’s been a great season,” she said.

Ho’s path to the singles crown was smoothed when the second, third and fourth seeds were knocked out in the early stages – and she beat 14-year-old Mollie Patterson 4-0 in the final.

Ho and Emily Bolton then teamed up to overcome Kate Cheer and Denise Payet 3-0 in the doubles final.

And, in the mixed doubles, Ho and Tom Jarvis triumphed 3-1 against Luke Savill and Bolton 3-1, despite not having previously played as a pair at a tournament.
