Hampstead fielded a new Under-16 team featuring several boys who were playing rugby for the first time – and they beat Datchworth 28-20, using more than 20 players during the game.

Training for Hampstead’s youth players takes place on Saturdays at Parliament Hill Fields from 10.30am. Contact juniors@hampsteadrugbyclub.co.uk for details.
