Rob Frampton scored four times as West Hampstead hammered Gore Court 9-1 to equal their biggest win of the season in South League Division Two.

Dave Leech opened the scoring from close range and Frampton added the first of three penalty corners before Tom Kimberley gave the Brent Cross club a 3-0 lead.
Doug Reed reduced the deficit before half-time, but WH were completely on top after the interval and Leech completed his hat-trick, with Frampton hitting a further three goals and Harry Willetts also on the scoresheet.
The result boosted West Hampstead’s promotion chances as they closed the gap on leaders Oxford Hawks – who suffered their first defeat of the season against Tulse Hill & Dulwich – to six points with two games in hand.
WH captain Jamie Dru said: “We beat Slough 9-1 earlier in the season, but they’re struggling, whereas this win came against a much better team and that’s very pleasing.”
West Hampstead are away to Woking this weekend.
