Tottenham winger Gareth Bale will miss his side’s trip to Everton on Sunday but is expected to return for the game against Swansea.

The Welsh wizard picked up a hamstring strain during his side’s 3-0 victory over Fulham and head coach Andre Villas-Boas believes his side can cope with his absence.

“He will not make Everton but could be back for next weekend. But I have other options and I have excellent players,” said the Portuguese coach.
