Tottenham playmaker Clint Dempsey wants the club to push on after victories over West Ham, Liverpool and Fulham.

Spurs have climbed into fourth place and are level on points with West Brom and Chelsea after their recent form has coincided with dips for their rivals.

“It’s difficult to get results in this league, period,” Dempsey said.

“We were going through a tough spell, but we’ve responded with three wins in a row.

“That’s great, it lifts us up the table and now it’s about pushing on from here.”
