Andre Villas-Boas: Be patient, this is a new Spurs side

Tottenham head coach Andre Villas-Boas has asked fans to be patient as it is a new generation of Spurs players.
After the change in manager over the summer, the north London club have made a slow start to the season and are yet to win at home.
But the Portuguese boss has cited the dramatic changes in personnel, caused by injury and transfers, as to why the club have done this.
Spurs have sold Younes Kaboul, Luka Modric and Rafael van der Vaart in recent weeks but have brought in Jan Vertonghen, Mousa Dembele, Emmanuel Adebayor and Clint Dempsey.
But the Togo international is on the treatment table along with Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Scott Parker.
“If you reflect at this moment we have Benoit Assou-Ekotto, Younes Kaboul, Scott Parker, Luka Modric, Emmanuel Adebayor, and Rafael van der Vaart all out of this team, so this team has nothing to do with last year’s team,” he said.
“It is about getting acquainted with each other now.
“We have a lot of the ball and we try to create the most amount of chances that we have and try to evolve from game to game until every player knows each other a little bit better based on the changes that were made in the past.”
