King Alfred School enjoyed a successful end to their netball season as all three of their teams reached the play-offs in the Barnet Schools County Netball League.

The Year 9 team went all to the way to the title, beating Ashmole Academy in the final, while the Year 8 side came second in their competition, narrowly losing to Compton.

The Year 7 team came third, beating Palmers Green High School in the third and fourth place play-off.

Miffy Wilson, King Alfred School PE teacher and netball coach, said: “The King Alfred School teams showed tremendous flair and sportsmanship throughout their matches – they should be really proud of themselves.”
