Midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson has told his Spurs team-mates not to take League One Coventry lightly when they clash in the FA Cup third round on Saturday.
The Icelandic midfielder reckons Coventry, who are on a 10 match unbeaten run, will rise to the occasion at White Hart Lane.
“It’s a great occasion for them,” he told Spurs’ official website.
“They come up against a top Premier League side and they will come here, want to do a job and take the chance to impress everyone.
“We have to make sure we’re ready for that and we’re in the draw for the next round.”
Andre Villas-Boas thinks Tottenham may have succeeded in their final day push for Champions League football had referee Andre Marriner awarded Gareth Bale a penalty - rather than book him for diving.
