QPR manager Harry Redknapp will give chances to the club’s returning loanees DJ Campbell, Jay Bothroyd and Rob Hulse, who had spent the recent weeks at Ipswich, Sheffield Wednesday and Charlton respectively.
All of them could feature for the R’s in their FA Cup third round tie against West Brom today and the 65-year-old has an open mind about them.
“DJ Campbell is back,” Redknapp said. “Jay Bothroyd is back. Rob Hulse is back.
“When I came in I had a clean slate with all of them.
“I have no pre-conceived ideas of who were good lads and bad lads.
“They’re all part of the squad. We’ve got a month to get a few in.
“If I get a few in then I have to let a few leave.”
The R’s boss, in particular, is delighted to have the former Blackpool man back after the striker impressed him when at Tottenham.
“I’ve only ever liked him [DJ Campbell] when I’ve seen him before,” Redknapp said.
“He works hard, he scores goals. He’s a good lad.
Bothroyd struggled at Sheffield Wednesday but the Rangers manager is prepared to give him another chance.
“It’s up to him,” Redknapp said. “He’s got ability. It didn’t go well for him at Sheffield Wednesday with Dave Jones who knew him from Cardiff.”
