QPR striker DJ Campbell has returned to Loftus Road following a successful three-month loan spell at Championship side Ipswich that produced 10 goals in 17 appearances and there has been interest in the frontman from other second tier sides.
Manager Harry Redknapp will play Campbell in tomorrow’s FA Cup third-round tie against West Brom and plans to use him in QPR’s campaign to stay in the Barclays Premier League.
“I’ve had lots of interest in DJ Campbell. He went out on loan at Ipswich and did great, they loved him,” he said.
“He played against us for Blackpool when I was at Tottenham and I thought he was a real handful.
“He’s back and available this weekend and I’m looking forward to getting him involved. I’ve always liked him as a player.”
