QPR manager Harry Redknapp has confirmed that he is hoping to sign defender Tal Ben Haim on a short-term contract.
The 30-year-old Israel international has been training with Rangers following his departure from Portsmouth in the summer.
“Tal has worked hard [in training] and we will look to give him a contract until the end of the season,” Redknapp said after watching his side record a historic 1-0 win against Chelsea last night.
“He may be added to the squad. He is keen to have a go with us.”
Ben Haim started his career in England at Bolton before having spells at Chelsea and Man City,
