Transfer news: Millwall are set to complete the signing of West Bromwich Albion striker Chris Wood on loan for two months.

The New Zealand international scored a hat-trick against the Lions for Birmingham City last season and is expected to go into the squad to face Cardiff City tomorrow.

“I’m not in the first team picture at West Brom so I’m dying to start playing regular football again,” Wood told the club’s official site.

In January I will give some thought to my longer term future, but for now I’m just looking forward to playing for Millwall and hopefully scoring some goals.”
