Middlesex Senior Cup quarter-finals: Hendon 9 (White 9, 26, 52, 88, 90, Nathaniel-George 19, 49, 69, Gordon 70) Spelthorne Sports 1 (Saleh 21)

Five goals from striker Joe White helped Hendon thrash Spelthorne Sports 9-1 in the quarter-finals of the Middlesex Senior Cup.

The forward, on loan from National League club Dagenham & Redbridge, opened the scoring in the ninth minute at Silver Jubilee Park.

The Greens added a second 10 minutes later through Ashley Nathaniel-George, though Sports did half the deficit through Jamil Saleh in the 21st minute.

White scored his second of the net with 19 minutes left in the half as Hendon went into half-time with a 3-1 lead.

Four minutes after the restart, Nathaniel-George also added his second, while White completed his hat-trick in the 52nd minute.

Nathaniel-George also netted a treble in the rout, scoring his third of the match from the spot with 21 minutes remaining to make it 6-1.

Liam Gordon, also on loan from Daggers, found the target, before White netted twice in the closing minutes to round out the scoring.

Hendon’s reward for beating Spelthorne is a tie at home to League Two outfit Barnet in the semi-finals.

Hendon: Addai, Murphy (Campbell-Young 63), Gordon, Tingey, Bray (Cole 63), Eggleton, Nathaniel-George (Murphy 71), McGovern, Walker, White, Joseph.

Subs: Muir, Joseph.
