Chelsea new boy Demba Ba admitted that the quality of the midfield trio of Juan Mata, Eden Hazard and Oscar is what attracted him to west London.
The former Newcastle man completed his move to Stamford Bridge last Friday and scored twice on debut at Southampton.
“They make football look easy. I just try run in behind and try to create space as well for them. I know when they have some space they will be very dangerous.
“When you have players that understand football perfectly you just have to run and the ball comes into your feet so that’s what I’ll do.
“They create good spaces, they make good passes, they are intelligent in their game so they make it easier.
“At Newcastle I had Yohan Cabaye, Ben Arfa, these players are world class players as well. I’m not putting pressure on myself, I just want to enjoy the football.”
It’s being a whirlwind few days for Ba and he explains how he became a Blue.
“I woke up last Wednesday preparing to play against Everton,” he said.
“I then got a text from the manager that said I need to go and see him. From that moment I knew that everything was fixed and I’ll go.
“I travelled down as quick as possible to London to watch the game against QPR, and the next day I had a medical - so it was very busy.
“When a club like Chelsea wants you the decision is going to be easy. With all the respect I have for Newcastle because Newcastle is a big club with a big history, but when you come to Chelsea it’s a step forward for me.”
