Chelsea youngster Todd Kane is enjoying life on loan at League One Preston and is looking forward to returning to London to face Millwall in the FA Cup third round.
The 19-year-old is confident that his side can triumph at the Den if they show commitment and passion.
“I have had to adapt to the way PNE play,” he told the club’s official website. “I am still adapting now but hopefully I can carry the momentum into Saturday’s game and get hold of the ball to create chances for the team.
“I have enjoyed my experience at Preston so far. I have got on with the lads well, I already knew Jeffrey Monakana before I arrived and I have fitted in really well.
“We have a tough game against Millwall on Saturday; hopefully I will get another start so I can show what I am capable of producing.
“Playing back down south is pleasing because all my family and friends will be coming to support and we want to get through to the fourth round.
“Millwall are a good side, they are not seventh in the Championship for no reason but we will put 100% in and I can’t see why we can’t come away with the win.”
Graham Westley has an injury crisis for tomorrow’s game with the Lilywhites having 13 players available on Tuesday.
“Bailey went off with concussion [on Tuesday], his second of the season, and we have to manage that in line with the guidelines. It is extremely unlikely he is going to be fit for the weekend,” Westley said..
“We only had 13 on the training ground this morning and there are a few rated 50/50, so there probably won’t be too many more available for the weekend.”
Andre Villas-Boas thinks Tottenham may have succeeded in their final day push for Champions League football had referee Andre Marriner awarded Gareth Bale a penalty - rather than book him for diving.
