Chelsea give Petr Cech injury update

Chelsea have confirmed via their official Twitter account that goalkeeper Petr Cech has suffered a groin muscle injury.

The Czech stopper was withdrawn at half time of the Blues’ 2-1 win at Everton and is set to miss the west London derby against QPR.

The length of Cech’s injury absence has yet to be revealed but Ross Turnbull is expected to deputise in the mean time.
