Brentford manager Uwe Rosler was furious with assistant referee Mathew Bounassisi after he made another decision against Brentford.
In other games, the assistant disallowed a Paul Hayes goal against Shrewsbury and tried to prevent a Toumani Diagouraga goal against Charlton last season in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.
“I am going to see the referee,” Rosler told the club’s official website after the final whistle.
“I am not allowed to speak to him for 30 minutes.
“I don’t think it is good enough that the linesman just says ‘sorry’.
“This is an extra game for us in our schedule.
“There is too much at stake.”
Tottenham have missed their chance to sign Joao Moutinho after last summer’s primary transfer target agreed a five-year deal with Monaco.
