Brentford manager Uwe Rosler blasted referee Tim Robinson after the Bees held Bournemouth to a 0-0 draw.
The former Manchester City striker felt his side should have had a last minute penalty when Clayton Donaldson was fouled but the official did not give it.
“There was a lot of noise coming from their dug out to the fourth official throughout the game and as a management team we felt we had to stand up for our team.
“Their player had no intention of going for the ball. He jumped at Clayton and I thought it was a clear penalty.”
Rosler saw a string of inconsistent decisions that appeared to go the visitors’ way.
“There were a lot of 50-50 decisions going their way in the second, which simply underlines the huge mental strength of my players for digging even deeper to make sure they didn’t get beaten,” Rosler said.
Andre Villas-Boas thinks Tottenham may have succeeded in their final day push for Champions League football had referee Andre Marriner awarded Gareth Bale a penalty - rather than book him for diving.
