Arsenal transfer news: Hernanes wants to remain at Lazio

Alleged Arsenal target Hernanes has said that he has no plans to leave Lazio.

The 26-year-old midfielder has been linked with a move to the Gunners as well as big spending Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala.

“I don’t have any plans to move,” Hernanes is quoted as saying by Corriere dello Sport.

“I have also heard those rumours but there is no truth in what is being said. I am leaving for Brazil for 15 days and then I will return to Rome to begin pre-season training with Lazio.’’

Hernanes scored eight goals in 31 appearances last season.
