Spinner Pete Monar lifted North London into the top half of the Division Three table as they beat Harrow Town by 19 runs in a low-scoring encounter.
Hussain Shabbir held the NL innings together after they were put in at Montenotte Road, carrying his bat for an undefeated 54 as his side were bowled out for just 134.
Monar (20) was the home side’s second top scorer, with Jack Godfrey-Wood (16) and Tom Wakeford (11) the only other batsmen to reach double figures as Kamlesh Desai (4-43) and Mehul Gokhani (3-27) wreaked havoc.
Wakeford (3-35) and James Baker (3-37) made early inroads when Town replied, but it looked as if Gokhani (42) would do enough to steer the visitors to victory.
However, Monar had other ideas and he prised out Gokhani, caught by Godfrey-Wood, as well as wrapping up the tail to finish with figures of 4-15 from eight overs as Town were dismissed for 115.
