Spurs star returns but five ruled out for Aston Villa clash

Tottenham are boosted by the return of striker Emmanuel Adebayor for Sunday’s game against Aston Villa after recovering from a hamstring injury.
Andre Villas-Boas is expected to recall Brad Friedel in goal despite a solid performance from understudy Hugo Lloris in Thursday’s Europa League draw against Panathinaikos.
Kyle Naughton (foot), Scott Parker (Achilles), Jake Livermore (groin), Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Younes Kaboul (both knee) are all out.
