Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas is keen to continue Spurs’ good form when they travel to Athens for their Europa League Group J clash against Panathinaikos.
Spurs drew their opening fixture in the competition at home to Lazio, although they were desperately unlucky not to beat the Italian giants after having two legitimate goals ruled out.
But the Portuguese is hoping to continue Spurs’ good away form and follow up wins at Reading and Manchester United, as well as Carlisle in the Capital One Cup, with a Europa League victory.
“We have won two straight away games so to it would be nice to make it three against Panathinaikos,” Villas-Boas said.
“It is very important for us to get that win to put us back on track in the group phase of the Europa League and then we are back to the Premier League so [a win] would be good for everybody.”
Saint Etienne forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has hinted that he would prefer a move to Borussia Dortmund over Arsenal, Tottenham and Newcastle.
