West Brom boss Steve Clarke insists Arsene Wenger will ride out the latest Emirates Stadium storm as the Baggies look to get their own Premier League season back on track.
Clarke’s men hit the dizzy heights of third place before successive defeats to Swansea and Stoke, but their problems pale into insignificance compared with those of the Gunners, who were stunned 2-0 by the Swans last week.
But Clarke said: “This week it is Mr Wenger, next week it might be someone else and the following week it will be someone else again.
“It’s the way the game is now. It’s probably the way the game has always been but there is so much more spotlight on it now.
“There is always going to be somebody up there that they want to have a pop at.”
Saint Etienne forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has hinted that he would prefer a move to Borussia Dortmund over Arsenal, Tottenham and Newcastle.
