Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that the Gunners are missing five key men from Saturday’s game with West Brom.
The north Londoners are out of form and have fallen to 10th in the Premier League.
Wenger told Arsenal Player: “Lukas Podolski (hamstring) and Theo Walcott (calf) are out. Bacary Sagna (foot) and Laurent Koscielny (thigh) are not back.
“From Tuesday night in Greece there are no new injuries so we have a selection from the combined squad of Tuesday and Saturday.”
Andre Santos will also be absent from the game against the Baggies but is expected to return for the Christmas period.
Wenger confirmed: “He will not be ready for Saturday but he is not far away with an abdominal injury.”
Tottenham’s Andros Townsend says he has learned valuable lessons during his stellar loan spell with QPR – and he is keen to impress Spurs’ coaches again today when he faces Liverpool at Anfield.
