Arsenal star Cazorla impressed by team-mate Rosicky

Santi Cazorla has described Tomas Rosicky as a “Spanish type of player” and says he is looking forward to developing an understanding with the Czech in Arsenal’s midfield.

32-year-old Rosicky is back in full training having made just four appearances for the Gunners this campaign after suffering an Achilles injury during Euro 2012.

Cazorla, who has been a key figure for his new side since his arrival from Malaga in the summer, has been impressed by Rosicky and says he hopes their good work together in training can pay off on the pitch.

“I think that Rosicky is an amazing player,” the Spaniard told Arsenal’s official website.

“Now I have started playing with him because he too has been through a long injury, and he is also a ‘Spanish’ type of player.

“He associates himself very well, and seeing the positions that we play in, we will understand each other very well, as we do every day during training, and I hope to enjoy many good moments with him on the pitch.”
