Arsenal goalkeeper Vito Mannone admits he could be forced to leave the Gunners at the end of the season in search of first team football.

The Italian enjoyed an extended run in the first team earlier in the season due to injuries to Wojciech Szczesny and Lukasz Fabianski but has not featured since November.

Mannone admits he would be open to returning to Italy if he doesn’t get more opportunities at Arsenal.

“I’ve had a long experience here, now I’m open to everything,” he is quoted as saying on www.tuttomercatoweb.com.

“If I do not play by June, I’m willing to go back to Italy or to try a new adventure in England.

He added: “The important thing is to play.”
