Arsenal’s Abou Diaby and Andre Santos are back in full training after long injury absences but will not be ready for the Gunners’ FA Cup clash against Swansea this weekend, Arsene Wenger has revealed.
Diaby has not featured for the Gunners since hobbling off in their 2-1 defeat to Chelsea in September, while Andre Santos has been absent since November.
Wenger has no fresh injury doubts for the trip to face Michael Laudrup’s Swans on Sunday.
He said: “Everybody is available because we have [Abou] Diaby and [Andre] Santos coming back into full training.
“They are not completely match-fit, but they are back.”
Tottenham’s Andros Townsend says he has learned valuable lessons during his stellar loan spell with QPR – and he is keen to impress Spurs’ coaches again today when he faces Liverpool at Anfield.
