A woman was treated for smoke inhalation after escaping from her burning flat in Paddington.

The fifth-floor flat in Bishop’s Bridge Road was severely damaged by the fire on Sunday. Around 20 firefighters and four engines from Paddington, North Kensington, and Kensington fire stations spent an hour bringing the blaze under control, between 1pm and 2pm. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
