The chef at Odette’s in Primrose Hill presented children at the school in Islip Street with gifts to help their education.

Throughout November and December, Odette’s raised £609 for children’s charity Variety to pay for the gifts.

Mr Williams said: “We gave each classroom a fun and educational gift that they could all share, and their reactions when they unwrapped the presents were just fantastic. Hopefully they will be able to use the gifts for a long time to come.”

Wendy Baker, extended services co-ordinator at Kentish Town Primary, said: “Children and staff at the school would like to send an enormous thank-you to Bryn and to Variety for all they do for us.”
