Miss Christmas, Miss Mistletoe and Snowflake the dog will be leading proceedings at the Maida Vale switch-on tonight


The Maida Vale lights will be switched on this evening, with carol singing at Paddington Recreation Ground before a switch on at Maida Vale tube station.

The evening will begin at the recreation ground at 4pm, with the ‘Jingle Bells show’ featuring Miss Christmas, and Miss Mistletoe. This will be followed by children from St. Augustine’s and Essendine Primary School singing carols.

Afterwards there before a procession from the recreation ground to the underground station, where the tree will be lit up at around 5.15pm.

The Lord Mayor of Westminster will turn on the lights, along with Miss Christmas and Miss Mistletoe with Snowflake the puppy.
