How much is that doggy in the window? Pop up gallery in shop front shows off pet pictures

Dog lovers walking through Highgate can stop by a makeshift gallery exhibiting drawings of pets in a shop window.
Graphic designer Sasha Bunch, 33, will exhibit her drawings in the window of 46 Highgate High Street, the former bookshop Fisher & Sperr, for at least the next month.
Visitors will have to view the portraits from the street as the shop is being converted into a veterinary practice by owner Allan Rapley.
The first pet portrait Ms Bunch drew was a present for her mum’s 60th birthday, but she started drawing and commissioning pictures in earnest after giving birth to her first child 15 months ago.
Her graphite portraits, which have all been of cats and dogs so far, cost about £170.
“I really enjoyed doing it so I started to advertise and am now getting quite a few commissions,” said the Milton Road resident, who lives with her partner and young son.
“We don’t have any pets because we’re not allowed to, but I’m sure we will have some at some stage as my son loves dogs.”
