A Highgate pub played host to one of the Gallagher brothers in a quiet Sunday night DJ set this week.

Fans hoping to see either Liam and Noel, of Oasis fame, may have been disappointed as it was their lesser-known brother Paul who stepped up to the decks to play a four-hour set at The Woodman pub, in Archway Road. Paul has just finished touring Australia and Europe with Liam’s band Beady Eye.

“It was fantastic to have a well known figure who has DJ’d at some huge venues around the world to get down with The Woodman locals,” said pub owner, Tom Helliwell.

Paul has promised to come back to the Highgate haunt for regular DJ sets. Could this be the beginning of a flourishing new career for the third Gallagher brother? You read it here first.
